Autumn is arriving and I love legumes and in my life Autumn=Legumes.
Pasta e Ceci or Pasta and Chick Peas remember me my Grandma and the recipe that I will share today is her recipe with the pasta my Grandma loved: Anelletti!
It is creamy, tasty and scented recipe! and as usual I used herbs.
Here are the ingredients and the steps. You can find the video recipe in my Instagram page (my profile - highlights) or in my YouTube channel.
Place the chick peas in a bowl and cover with water. If you want you can add a spoon of backing soda. Leave it for 10 hours.
Place the chick peas in a pan with Carrots, Celery and Onion cut and washed. Add salt , rosemary and Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Cover with water. Cook for 40 minutes or so (if you use the Instant pot, the timing becomes 10 minutes).
When Chick peas are cooked, place in a pan and add some water.
When it boils, add pasta and cook for 10 minutes or so.
Serve with rosemary and Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
