Pasta and Chick Peas


Autumn is arriving and I love legumes and in my life Autumn=Legumes.

Pasta e Ceci or Pasta and Chick Peas remember me my Grandma and the recipe that I will share today is her recipe with the pasta my Grandma loved: Anelletti!

It is creamy, tasty and scented recipe! and as usual I used herbs.

Here are the ingredients and the steps. You can find the video recipe in my Instagram page (my profile - highlights) or in my YouTube channel.


  • Chick peas

  • Carrots

  • Celery

  • Onion

  • Rosemary

  • Evo

  • Salt

  • Pasta


  • Place the chick peas in a bowl and cover with water. If you want you can add a spoon of backing soda. Leave it for 10 hours.

  • Place the chick peas in a pan with Carrots, Celery and Onion cut and washed. Add salt , rosemary and Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Cover with water. Cook for 40 minutes or so (if you use the Instant pot, the timing becomes 10 minutes).

  • When Chick peas are cooked, place in a pan and add some water.

  • When it boils, add pasta and cook for 10 minutes or so.

  • Serve with rosemary and Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
