Roasted Beef


this recipe remembers me Christmas in my family because every Christmas lunch my mother used to prepare it.

For sure there are a lot of recipes for Roasted Beef and here I will show you my family recipe.

I use a lot of herbs because I like them so much!

Here are the ingredients and the steps. You can find the video recipe in my Instagram page (my profile - highlights) or in my YouTube channel.


  • Carrots

  • Celery

  • Onion

  • Rosemary

  • Sage

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • Brandy or Cognac or red Wine

  • Beef eye of round roast

  • Garlic

  • Parsley

  • Salt


  • peel and blend onion, carrots and celery

  • Place in a large pan with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and cook very slowly for 15/20 minutes

  • Meantime prepare you beef doing some holes in the beef and stuffing with chopped garlic and parsley

  • spread on top of the beef, salt

  • place the beef in the pan with the vegetables and roast it just for few minutes, turning it sometimes

  • add the Brandy Or Cognac or Red Wine

  • add Rosemary and sage and 2 glasses of water

  • cover with a lid and cook very slowly for 1 hour, adding if you need other water and turning it if you need.

  • when the beef is cooked, wait for cold down and slice it

  • Serve sliced and covered with the dressing vegetables you cooked with the beef
