Cramberry and Oat Biscuit


such a great news, Christmas Eve, to prepare cookies!

Here a recipe from Yotam Ottolenghi, I love him, he is an amazing chef!

Here are the ingredients and the steps. You can find the video recipe in my Instagram page (my profile - highlights) or in my YouTube channel.


  • 150gr/1 cup whole almonds

  • 150gr/1cup+2tbsp al purpose flour

  • 75 gr/1/2cup whole wheat flour

  • 150 gr/1+1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 225 gr/1 cup unsalted butter

  • 100 gr/1/2 cup sugar

  • 1 orange zest grated

  • 25 ml/2 tsp orange juice

  • 125 gr/3/4 cup dried cranberries


  • place the almonds in a baking pan and roast them at 350F for 10 minutes

  • place the butter, sugar and orange zest in a bowl and mix

  • place in another bowl the flours the oat the salt and the almond roasted and mix

  • add this mixture in the butter mixture continuing mixing

  • add the cranberries and orange juice mixing

  • cut the dough in half and roll out and cut in rounds

  • bake them in a baking pan at 375F for 20 minutes
