Crumbled Chocolate Cake


Who loves the Chocolate like me????

I had the receipt for crumbled cake and I modified it adding the cocoa!

And here the final result...delicious!!!

Here are the ingredients and the steps. You can find the video recipe in my Instagram page (my profile - highlights) or in my YouTube channel.


The dough

  • 400 gr/3 +1/4 cups Flour

  • 150 gr/ 3/4 cup Sugar

  • 120 gr / 1/2 cup Butter

  • 2 egg

  • 16 gr / 3.5 tsp baking powder

The stuffing

  • 250 gr/1 cup ricotta cheese

  • 40 gr/1/2 cups Sugar

  • 10gr / 2 tsp cocoa

  • 1 lemon zest


  • Place in a bowl all the ingredients for the dough and start mixing with the hands. You should have a sandy dough

  • in another bowl mix the ricotta cheese, sugar, grated lemon zest and Cocoa and mix all together to obtain a smoot cream.

  • in a cake pan, place half of the dough and prepare the base of the cake.

  • add on top the stuffing

  • add on top the other part of the dough crumbled.

  • bake for 35 minutes at 390 degrees F.
