today a summer dessert!
It is a Sicilian dessert and it is a "Gelo" that means pudding without milk.
In this case we use all the lemon, zest and juice.
We use to eat it after a fish dinner, like a refreshing dessert.
It easy and fast to prepare with few ingredients.
Here are the ingredients and the steps. You can find the video recipe in my Instagram page (my profile - highlights) or in my YouTube channel.
5 Lemons organic
Corn Starch 50gr/ 1/4 cup+1tbsp
Water 500 ML
Lemon Juice 50 ML
Sugar 150gr/ 1 cup
peel the Lemons take just the yellow and not the white part
place in a bowl with the water and close it and leave in the refrigerator for 1 night (12 hours)
after that, filter the aromatic water and add the Lemon Juice
in a pan, place the Sugar and the Corn Starch and slowly add the aromatic water with the Juice and mix slowly
cook until it boils, mixing
place the pudding in little bowls and decorate as you prefer
leave in the refrigerator for 4 hours
