Green Beans and Almond


today I decided to mix Green Beans that I love mainly during the summer and Almond.

In Sicily we use a lot Almonds in the cuisine, they are an healthful food that came in Sicily from eastern Mediterranean ancient countries.

Sometimes I like to mix in original way this amazing seed!

Here are the ingredients and the steps. You can find the video recipe in my Instagram page (my profile - highlights) or in my YouTube channel.


  • Green Beans

  • Chopped Almonds

  • Cherry Tomatoes

  • Roasted Bread Crumbs

  • Garlic

  • Basil

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • Salt


  • Chop the Cherry Tomatoes and place in a frying pan with Garlic and Extra Virgin Olive Oil; cook for 10 minutes

  • Meantime cook the Green Beans in boiling and salted water for 15 minutes

  • add the Green Beans in the frying pan with tomatoes and add Basil, Chopped Almonds and roasted Bread Crumbs (to roast the bread crumbs, place it in a frying pan and roast for 5 minutes or so until it becomes golden). Cook them for 5 minutes.
